St. Agnese located in the Umbrian region of Italy is one of the most beautiful spots of undulating hills and valleys, dotted with luxuriant vines and olive groves interspersed with wineries In this picturesque site one enjoys breath-taking views both day and night. It is a blessing as well as a privilege to serve the elderly in a well- equipped home and abide in a unique tower that is comfortable and encircled with a beautiful panorama of winding roads with plenty of tourist on mountains’ bikes.

he geriatric mission commenced is 1985 on June 25. Don Licurgo Pistolesi the parish priest of Poggibonse and Don Mauro the parish priest of St Agnese facilitated the pioneering community of Sr. M. Hostence, Sr M. Cynthia, Sr Zita and Sr. Diana Patel. Amidst the pealing of the Church bells, the blessings of the prelates a the hearty welcome of the folks, our Sisters felt at ease and indeed motivated to give their very best.
O ver the decades, there have been umpteen changes - the management has been entrusted with local administrators who are periodically elected. The Sisters are primarily given the responsibility of carrying out the spiritual needs of the residents, be in their midst giving then special TLC, motioning their recreations, dining and resting.
The CCR's have left a mark of dedicated service and loving care which is deeply appreciated by the kith a kin of the folks in The Home. The Sisters in turn too are happy to give their best to the Home .
For almost a decade Sr. Mary D’Monte has been the Superior and motivates her team to be the ‘loving angels' of this pleasant Home.
