F oundations, new openings have a unique history. On hindsight we see the hand of God as we link the events and encounters, we realise have been God incidences.
His Eminence, Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York, Rector of the North American College (NAC) Rome was the Confessor of the CCR’s at San Paulo. A warm, friendly person, he was much loved by the Sisters. Mother Mary Frances expressed a wish to serve the clergy in NAC. The wish was favoured, with a tour of this magnificent site at overlooking the Vatican. We were briefed on the contract and duties. God’s hand moved favourably and time seemed to be in our favour. We were to replace the Mexican.... who were leaving NAC.

Sr. Mary Beatrice Superior, Sr. Christina Mendez, late Sr. Mercy CV, Agnes Joseph and Phyllis D’Cruz as pioneers joined the Staff to cater to the needs of the Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and Seminarians. It was a congenial set up and to date remains as one of the best work-place with a comfortable abode, nutritious diet, a reasonable schedule for work and leisure. Incorporated in the agreement is a well-framed policy to render spiritual input of daily Mass and other facilities.
The change of ground over the years has continued this wonderful rapport and genuine appreciation of the dedicated service of our Sisters. Many members of the faculty have been elevated as Cardinals, Archbishops and Bishops. Letters and greetings from them make our apostolate fruitful.
